قالت بعض العارفات من السَّلف: من عمل لله على المُشاهدة فهو عارفٌ، ومن عمل على مشاهدة الله إيَّاهُ فهو مخلص. فأشارت إلى مقامين: أحدهما: مقام الإخلاص، وهو أن يعمل العبد على استحضار مشاهدة الله إياه واطِّلاعه عليه، وقربه منه؛ فإذا استحضر العبد هذا في عمله، وعَمِلَ عليه، فهو مخلص ٌلله؛ لأنَّ استحضاره ذلك في عمله يمنعُهُ من الالتفات إلى غير الله وإرادته بالعمل . والثاني: مقام المشاهدة، وهو أن يعمل العبد على مقتضى مشاهدت…

يقول تعالى :«لقَد جئتُم شيئًا إدًّا * تكادُ السّماوات يتفطّرن منه وتنشقُ الأرضُ وتخِرُ الجبَال هدًّا * أنّ دعوا للرّحمن ولدًا» تهنيهم بماذا؟ تهنيهم بأن دعوا للرحمن ولداً! يقول الإمام ابن القيم-رحمه الله-:"إن فعل المعاصي مجتمعة أهـون من تهنئـة النصارى بعيدهم" اللهم إنا نبرأ إليك من كل شيء يغضبك ونستغفرك وندعوك أن تردنا إليك ردًا جميلًا.
﴿فتزلّ قدمٌ بعد ثبوتها﴾ لا يغب عن ذهنك أنّها كانت ثابتة.. وزلّت، لم يكن صاحبها يتأرجح، ولم يكن يتعذّر، ولم يكن يتردّد، بل كان ثابتاً ورغم هذا زلّ! ولهذا كان ﷺ يدعو: "يا مثبِّتَ القلوبِ، ثبِّت قلوبَنا على دينِكَ." الَّلهُمّ ثبّت قلوبنا على طاعتك.
