הסיבה שסטרוק התנגדה לשינוי השם ל"מלחמת התקומה"- בשלב זה שלא ברורות תוצאות המלחמה לא צריך להחליף את השם. "קודם נדע אם הגשמנו את מטרותיה של המלחמה או שרק החלפנו איום אחד באיום אחר. ואז נחליט מה השם"
