Зусім не падзяляю аптымізму пасьля галасаваньня ў Сэнаце пра санкцыі да Расеі і чарговых абяцаньняў Трампа. 27 ліпеня 1990-га Дэклярацыя аб сувэрэнітэце прымалася ў атмасфэры, у якой, як сказаў Васіль Быкаў (ішла прамая тэлетрансьляцыя) «панаваў хаўтурны настрой» — парлямэнцкая большасьць пасьлядоўна выкідала з прадстаўленага дэпутатамі БНФ праекту ўсё, што юрыдычна фіксавала сапраўдную Незалежнасьць. Змагаліся за кожную фармулёўку, за кожнае слова. Пэўныя палажэньні нам удалося адстаяць, але ў канцы камуністы ўпіхнулі арт…

20.07.1994. Чорны дзень. Запрашэньне на інаўгурацыю Лукашэнкі. На трэцім годзе Незалежнасьці ўрад не паклапаціўся пра бланкі з “Пагоняй” нават для ўрадавых тэлеграм: “Вам бы флажки, вначале надо накормить народ!”. Але вярнулі спачатку якраз “флажкі”. А потым — рэпрэсіі і тэрор.
А што вы зьдзіўляецеся лукашэнкаўскім прапагандыстам, якія адкрыта заяўляюць, што лічаць сваім абавязкам зьнішчаць нацыянальнае, беларускае? Яны ўсяго толькі рэтрансьлююць тое, што дэкляруе Лукашэнка ўсё сваё палітычнае жыцьцё — нязьменна і пасьлядоўна.
