قال عُمَرُ بْنُ الخَطَّابِ _رضي اللهُ عنه_ : "لو علمَ المؤمنونَ فضلَ الصّلاة على النبيّ لما كفَّت ألسنتهُم عنها كُلّ حين". اللهمّ صلِّ وسلِّم وبارِك وعظّم على نبيّنا وحبيبِنا وشفيعِنا وسيّدنا وسيّدِ من قَبلِنا وبَعدنا والعالمين مُحمَّد ﷺ وعلى آله وصحبهِ أجمعين وسلّم تسليماً كثيراً إلى يومِ الدّين .
حيّا اللّٰه أبا حفصٍ أوَّل من تسمّىٰ بـ أمير المؤمنين، ورحمه اللّٰه في الأوَّلين، ورضيَ عنه في الآخرين، وحشرنا في زُمرته يوم الدِّين.
كتب عُمرُ بنُ الخطَّاب لابنه عبد اللّٰه -رضي اللّٰه عنهما- في غيبةٍ غابها : "أمّا بعد .. فإنَّ من اتّقى اللّٰه وقاه، ومن اتّكل عليه كفاه، ومن شكر لهُ زاده، ومن أقرضه جزاه، فاجعل التّقوى عمارة لقلبك، وجلاء بصرك، فإنّه لا عمل لمن لا نيّة له، ولا خير لمن لا خشية له، ولا جديد لمن لا خلق له".
رأى أمير المؤمنين عُمر بن الخطَّاب -رضي الله عنه- شابّاً في مشيه ميوعة وغنج، فقال له : دع هذه المشية ! قال: لا أستطيع! فجلده ، ثم مشى معتدلاً كالسيف!.
كان من دعاء عُمر بنُ الخطّاب -رضي الله عنه- : "اللهمّ اجعل عملي كُلَّه خالصاً، واجعله لوجهك خالصاً ولا تجعل لأحدٍ فيه شيئاً".
قَد خَافَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الخَطَّابِ -رضي اللّٰهُ عنه- ورُودَ جهَنَّم و هوَ المُبشَّرُ بالجنَّة ! .. فَكَيف تَأمَن أنت، و أنتَ أنْت؟!
قالَ الإمام مَالِك بِنْ أنَس -رَحمهُ اللّٰه- : " كان السَّلَف يُعلِّمونَ أولادَهُم حُبَّ أبي بَكرٍ وَ عُمَر، كما يُعلِّمونَ السُّورة مِنَ القُرآن."
قال حذيفة: دخلت على عُمَر فرأيته مهمومًا حزينًا، فقلت له: ما يُهمَّك يا أمير المؤمنين؟ فقال عُمَر : إني أخاف أن أقع في مُنكر فلا ينهاني أحدٌ منكم تعظيماً لي! فقال حُذيفة: واللّٰه لو رأيناك خرجت عن الحق لنهيناك. ففرح عُمَر وقال: الحمد للّٰه الذي جعل لي أصحابًا يُقومونني إذا اعوججت.
قال عُمر بن الخطّاب -رضي اللّٰه عنه- : "إنّكم لا تغلبون عدوَّكم بعدد ولا عُدّة، ولكن تغلبونهم بهذا الدين، فإذا استويتم أنتم وعدوَّكم في الذنوب، كانت الغَلَبةُ لهم".
"يا بنيّ، إنّ النعيم لا يُدرَكُ بالنعيم! من أرادَ الجنة شمَّر عن ساقيه ومشى، ولا مُستراح إلّا هُناك". عُمَرُ بْنُ الخَطَّابِ -رضي اللّٰهُ عنه- .
قال عُمَرُ بْنُ الخَطَّابِ -رضيَ اللّٰه عنه- في خطبة العيد : "هذان يومان نهى رسول اللّٰه صلّى اللّٰه عليه وسلٌم عن صيامهما : يوم فطركم من صيامكم، واليوم الآخر تأكلون فيه من نُسككم" (رواه مسلم).
ما زالت تأسِرُني كلمة الفاروق عُمَر رضي اللّٰه عنه عندما قال بعد وفاة النّبي : «ولكنّي رجوتُ أن يعيشَ رسولُ اللّٰه حتَّى يُدبّر أمرنا، حتَّى يكونَ آخرنَا!» هذا هو الحِمل الثّقيل على الصّحابة فإنّهم في حياة النّبي إذا أهمَّهم الأمر انطلقوا للنّبي يسألوه أو يشكون لهُ أمرهم، أمّا نحن فشوقَنا له هو أكبرُ الأحمال على النّفس.
