Вчера на попутках возвращался в Симферополь из Кисловодска. Водителем одной из машин оказался армянин. Очень важно в наше время показать всему миру пример, каким должно быть христианство, какой должна быть церковь. Не просто говорить, потому что красивые слова сейчас говорят все подряд, особенно политики в преддверии выборов (заслушаешься, но мы же прекрасно знаем, что за этим стоит)). Одних слов никогда не достаточно. Нужен пример, причём не сыгранный, не искусственный.

Есть люди, которые хотят бороться с Богом и потому специально распространяют негативное отношение к Церкви. Потому что с Богом, всё-таки, трудно бороться. А вот с церковью – значительно легче, потому что «нет человека, который жил бы и не согрешил» (Еккл. 7:20). Можно придраться к любому человеку в церкви, от охранника или сотрудницы церковной лавки, до Католикоса, даже к святому.

Недавно разговаривал с нашей дорогой прихожанкой и в ходе беседы она сказала, что чувствует вину за то, что на одном важном церковном мероприятии ее не было и в целом было мало людей. Я сказал, что неорганизованность народа, или какие-то промахи в любом случае приведут нас к тому, что виноват не народ, а священник, который этот народ не сумел собрать.
