It was a pleasure to meet @USTreasury Assistant Secretary Jonathan Burke and discuss how to deepen U.S.-UK cooperation on safeguarding the financial system from criminal actors.
Great to meet with Dominic Kieran from @Westinghouse to hear more about how U.S. industry can help reinvigorate UK nuclear energy. U.S. investment in the UK energy sector deepens the ties between our nations and prepares the groundwork for growth, while also helping the UK secure affordable, reliable energy from its own sources.
In 2025, Mission UK @USAinUK focused on implementing @POTUS @RealDonaldTrump's America First agenda with purposeful intent and decisive actions. I am looking forward to 2026 as we will continue to advance the Trump Administration priorities and strengthen the U.S.-UK special relationship.
The special relationship between the U.S. and UK was on full display as UK armed forces supported the U.S. in the seizure of the M/V Bella 1 in the North Atlantic for violations of sanctions. This close coordination between the U.S. and @DefenceHQ is unmatched in our fight for peace and freedom throughout the world.
Thanks to @POTUS, U.S. ethanol exports are rising for U.S. farmers and bringing affordable American energy to the UK. Great to welcome @SecRollins back to the UK and join her in a meeting with U.S. industry leaders on the opportunities for U.S. ethanol, and the next steps to implement the historic U.S.–UK economic prosperity deal.
