من يترك الذنب وهو يشتهيه = أعظم عند الله ممن يتركه سجية وطبيعة من نفسه، وكلما كانت النفس تشتهي الذنب وتركته لله؛ كان العوض من الله لها أعظم وأرفع! وأعظم الحسنات هي ترك الذنوب عند اشتداد الشهوة لها -المقياس الحقيقي للخشية: أن تخشى الله حيث لا يراك أحد سواه.
