ورحلتُ! كما يفعلُ الراحلون في الحكايات. ألقيتُ بنفسي في عتمةِ السكون، تركتُ فنجان قهوتي يبردُ على الطاولة، والأوراقَ مبعثرةً في مهبّ الريح. لم ألتفت لأقفلَ باب الشرفة، ولا حملتُ في حقيبتي رسالةً قديمة، أو مظلّةً تحميني من غضبِ السماء. ورحلتُ.. قبل أن أرتّب فوضى أيامي، وقبل أن يقع في حُبّي رجلٌ يكتبُ لي الرسائل.. وقبل أن ألدَ فكرةً واحدةً تُنقذ العالم، رحلتُ. بُثينة السقاف.
أكتبُ إليكَ... لا لأن الرسائل تصل، بل لأن قلبي لم يجد طريقًا آخر ليخفّف عن نفسه. أحببتك وشعرتُ أنك قريبٌ من روحي حدّ الاكتمال، وبعيدٌ عن حياتي حدّ الاستحالة، كنتَ قدري… لكن بعض الأقدار نمرّ بها ولا نصل إليها. ومع ذلك… أحببتك، أحببتك كما يُحب العابرُ مدينةً لا يسكنها، يمرّ بها مرةً، ثم يقضي عمره يحنّ إليها. كنتُ أختبئ بك من العالم، وأضيع فيك أكثر، كأنك ملجأي الوحيد… ووجعي الوحيد في الوقت ذاته لم تكن مجرد شعورٍ عابر…
