При прямом запросе игнорируется тип данных, что приводит к рендеру HTML, который находится внутри jpeg, если же использовать этот адрес в качестве ссылки внутри тега img, то рендерится иллюстрация формата jpeg. Что интересно, в андроиде и на маке работает немного по разному.
