Четырнадцать лет назад в Ульяновске открылся (всё ещё) крупнейший торговый центр. Во время постройки ему предрекали стать убийцей «Пушкарёвского кольца», а официальное название в народе почти сразу сменили на «Ашан». Первые годы ТРЦ шумно с салютом и дискотекой отмечал каждый свой день рождения, а мне доводилось встречать между бутиками балерину Волочкову и певицу Натали.

Помните, в начале весны я рассказывал о неудержимой семейной паре, идущей пешком из Москвы во Владивосток? Так вот вчера они подобрались к экватору (своего путешествия), за 184 дня дошагали до Красноярска, оставив позади более 4500 километров. Сомневаться в серьёзности намерений Паши и Томы больше не приходится. Финиш запланирован на декабрь. Удивительные люди. Следить за ними можно здесь.

Сегодня в соседней Казани взяли и построили десятиметровую башню из чак-чака. Судя по первым отчётным репортажам, мероприятие прошло прилично и спокойно.
