Главная интрига этого года — если пойти на сайт лондонской версии, то там в промо-материалах три отрывка из песен, записанных к концертному каст-альбому 2023 года. Увидела манга-версию «Призрака Оперы» и пропала. Считаю, что если и переснимать фильм-мюзикл для современной аудитории — то только в таком стиле. Создатели экранизации Mean Girls вообще не поняли, что надо публике, поэтому их экранизация провалилась, а мы-то понимаем, что к чему. На Кристину берем Рэйчел Зеглер, Эндрю Ллойд-Уэббер заранее одобряет. Дальше, Джек Вульф — Рауль. Дадим хоть какой-то шанс Джейкобу Раулю.…

В копилке смешных (ну как смешных) способов отметить день рождения прибыло! Раньше видела, как мальчик в НЙ устраивал с друзьями прогон Wicked по ролям, а тут девочка заставила друзей после нескольких бокалов выговаривать Сондхайма 😅 У меня сегодня без Сондхайма, зато будет первое превью Тетрадки Смерти. Надеюсь, Уайлдхорн не слишком сильно переписал песни и не испортит мне праздник 🙃

Бродвейский Hadestown в этом году, конечно, с большим перевесом побеждает вест-эндовский по увлекательности кастингов. Жасмин Савой Браун из Yellowjackets в роли Эвридики, Эмбер Иман в роли Персефоны, Норберт! Лео! Бутс! в роли Гермеса, выглядит довольно неплохо. А вот Орфей что в НЙ, в Лондоне теперь будут неизвестные мне singer-songwriters — стант-кастинг это или фича, скоро услышим.
