- فائدة لغوية! - (عُثَيمين) ليست تصغيرًا للاسم العَلَم (عثمان)، وإنما هو تصغير لـ (عثمان) فرخ الحبارى على ما قيل، أما الاسم العلَم (عثمان) فتصغيره (عُثَيمان)، وهو مشتق من (العَثْم) وهو جبر العظم المكسور على غير استقامته، وفي المثل: (إلا أكُنْ صَنَعًا فإني أعتَثِم)، أي: إن لم أكن حاذقًا فإني أعمل على قدر معرفتي، والصَّنَع بفتحتين الماهر الحاذق.

ينبغي تجريد النحو من لغة الشعر وما فيها من ضرورات، فالمضطرّ مخالف لإرضاء الوزن، ولا تُقعّد المخالفة.
هناك أفعال لا تحتاج إلى فاعل. منها: الأفعال التي اتصلت بآخرها (ما) الكافة نحو: طالما، قلما، تقول: قلما تستمع المرأة النصيحة، فـ(قلما) كافة ومكفوفة. أو (قلّ ما) قلّ: فعل ماض (ما) مصدرية، والمصدر المنسبك منها ومن صلتها فاعل أي: قلَّ استماع المرأة. وهذا رأي وجيه يساير القاعدة العامة أن الفعل لابد له من فاعل. دليل السالك.
