Сегодня в Сочи занимаемся вопросами подготовки 30-го юбилейного Форума современной журналистики. Встретились и пообщались с руководством города Сочи и руководителями департамента информации Краснодарского края; потом посетили Зимний Театр, его директора и его коллег. Все в Сочи нас ждут, любят и помогают!

Романов-антиутопий (и рассказов-антиутопий) было написано очень много, некоторые и сейчас пишут. Но сегодня мне часто вспоминается роман Энтони Бёрджесса "Вожделеющее семя". "Совкомбанк" несколько дней назад открыл для себя новейший и эффективнейший инструмент продаж: обзвон граждан с рассказами о своих чудесных продуктах. При помощи занудного и тормозного робота, конечно же. Или у них там бюджет выделен маленький, или его как-то по особенному освоили, но одному и тому же человеку (мне) звонят по 4-5 раз в день. Третий день подряд блокирую их номера, жду, когда у них закончатся сим-карт…

Великолепно провели уже пятый телекинофорум "Новая реальность". Несколько сотен заявок и больше ста участников, которые приехали лично. Было очень круто, это вселяет оптимизм в организаторов. Нижний Новгород стал лучшей площадкой для форума; похоже, что здесь и дальше будем встречаться с коллегами-документалистами.

Очень интересно читать сегодня, как разгоняют тему про "девушку, которая получила 3 года тюрьмы за кальян на куличе". Мало кто пишет, что кальянщица в момент глумления над куличом была на условном сроке за хранение наркотиков. Тут другое удивительно - вообще впервые вижу, чтоб за хранение наркотиков давали 3 условно; обычно за это всем без исключения дают сразу же 8 лет тюрьмы. Так что посмотреть еще, что за дама..…

Международная Федерация Журналистов приняла решение исключить Союз Журналистов России из организации; это случилось вчера. Причина исключения - создание Союзом Журналистов России региональных отделений в Херсонской и Запорожской областях. Защита журналистов, которые оказались брошены на произвол судьбы в понимании руководства МФЖ считается нарушением Устава. Для нас на первом месте всегда были журналисты, а не устав…

На прошлой неделе мы провели церемонию вручения премии "Золотое Перо России", на которую съехались более 300 журналистов со всей страны.
