Klimakrise und Flucht hängen unmittelbar miteinander zusammen. Während immer mehr Menschen durch die (vom Globalen Norden maßgeblich geschaffene) Klimakrise in die Flucht getrieben werden, schottet Europa sich weiter ab. Die EU will mit einer Reform des GEAS das Asylrecht aushöhlen. Asylverfahren würden an der EU-Grenze durchgeführt, Geflüchtete bis zum Ergebnis des Verfahrens eingesperrt. Es wäre de facto unmöglich sie zu unterstützen oder Rechtshilfe zu gewährleisten. Auch für Kinder und Familien gelten keine Ausnahmen. Außerdem sollen Asylanträge direkt abgelehnt werden, wenn Menschen aus einem Land kommen, das als "sicher" gilt …
