هیچوقت شده من رو خوب ببینی؟ روزی که دفعهٔ اول من رو دیدی که باید تو رختخواب میبودم. روزی که بهم پیشنهادِ ازدواج دادی دکترها جوابم کرده بودن. این رو میدونستی، نمیدونستی؟ شبی که باهام ازدواج کردی آمبولانس برام فرستادن. این رو که یادت نرفته؟ نه، نمیشه گفت خوبم. ولی بدتر هم نیستم. در واقع بهتر از قبلم. کور شدنم تلنگر خیلی خوبی بود. اگه میتونستم کر و لال هم بشم یه راست تا صدسالگی میرفتم. یا شاید هم رفتهم؟

من از این پلهها پنج هزار بار بالا و پایین رفتهم ولی هنوز نمیدونم چندتان. هر وقت فکر میکنم ششتان، چهار یا پنج یا هفت یا هشتتا میشن و هر وقت یادم میآد پنجتان، سه یا چهار یا شش یا هفتتا میشن و وقتی که عاقبت میفهمم هفتتان، پنج یا شش یا هشت یا نُهتا میشن. بعضی وقتها به خودم میگم نکنه شبها اونها رو تغییر میدن.
