اريد من القصائد الحيدرية: يقول السيد جواد شبر حدثني السيد هادي القزويني أن عمه السيد ميرزا جعفر كان يقترح على خطيب الذكرى الحسينية العاشورائية في المحفل الذي يعقده بداره في الحلة طيلة العشرة الاولى من المحرم أن لا ينشده غير المراثي الحيدرية. وكانت مجموع قصائد السيد حيدر الحسينية 23 قصيدة عدا المقاطيع.
