باسمك ربي وضعت جنبي وبك أرفعه إن أمسكت نفسي فارحمها، وإن أرسلتها فاحفظها بما تحفظ به عبادك الصالحين.

ما كان لي في شدّتي إلا رحمتك، تمرّ الأيّام مُثقلة فيخفّ حملها بلُطفك، ويكاد قلبي ينكسر، فتجبره بعنايتك . يا ربّ إنّي ضعيفُ بنفسي، قليلُ بحيلتي، أعتصم بك من قلبي ومن الدُّنيا ومن الخَلق فكُن لي وليًا وكافيًا . واملأ بصيرتي نُورًا ،وصدري سكينة واختم لي بالحُسنى حيًا وميتًا.
