Я тут посмотрел фильм-ограбление «Западня» (Entrapment, 1999 года). Там Шон Коннери и Кэтрин Зета-Джонс всю вторую половину фильма пытаются ограбить Башни Петронас в Малайзии! Помните, мы в 90-е мешали порошки Юппи и Invite+ с водой и пили эти странные сладкие напитки дома? Так вот, в Малайзии до сих пор балуются этим, и это часть повседневности. Мы посетили в Ипохе очень интересное место — Gua Tambun. Здесь находятся древние наскальные рисунки, которым примерно 2 000–5 000 лет. Это крупнейший комплекс неолитического наскального искусства на Малайском полуострове. За моей спиной — более 600 рисунков. Место малоизвестное🍂. В Мелаке я был очень давно и вот недавно посетил её вновь. Город сильно преобразился и оживился после пандемии. Много туристов, огней и лодок вдоль набережных — они расширяются, вдоль них появилось много баров и кафе. К сожалению, не могу сказать того же об Ипохе. Город как будто утратил привлекательность для туристов: пустых зданий в центре стало больше, инфраструктуру не обновляют. В Мелаке открыли бесплатный город…

Пиво в Малайзии в целом не ахти, но за это мне не стыдно. Это стаут Connor's. Я удивлён, что его сварили у нас — это наше уникальное пиво, своего рода ответ Гиннесу. Почему-то я всегда думал, что оно из Англии. У него приятный кофейно-шоколадный вкус. Он насыщен азотом и имеет приятную пенку, как у ирландского Гиннеса. Когда в столице уже попробовали всё, можно сходить на креветочную рыбалку. Это довольно популярное развлечение в последнее время. Я знаю как минимум две точки — точка 1 и точка 2.
