كان من دعاء النبي ﷺ: "وأسألُك قُرة عينٍ لا تنقطع" أي: أن يرزقه اللّٰه الاستقرار في الأمور كلِّها، خيرها وشرّها، بأن يرى كل قضاء اللّٰه لُطف منه، وهذا يتبعه استقرار بالقلب وشعور بالطمأنينة؛ لأنَّ العين بوابة القلب، فإذا استقرت العين استقر القلب.
