يعجبني من يتحدثُ الفصحى بثقة، في زمنٍ يظنُّ فيه البعض أن الرقيَّ يُشترى بلكنةٍ أعجمية، ويجهلون أن ما يفتخرون بتقليده لم يبلغ من التاريخ نصفَ ما بلغته لغتنا. لغتهم وُلدت بالأمس، ولغتنا نُقشت في الحجر، وسُجِّلت في السماء. الفصحى لا تحتاج أن تتجمّل؛ يكفيها أنها لغةٌ نزل بها الوحي، ونهضت بها حضارة، وحُفظ بها تاريخ أمة.
