بحسب التقرير السنوي لهيئة مقاومة الجدار والاستيطان.. يوجد في الضفة الغربية "1626 منشأة إسرائيلية واستيطانية" بين "حاجز، وبوابة، ومستوطنة، وبؤرة استيطانية، ومنشأة خدماتية استيطانية، وموقع عسكري، وكلية عسكرية" وهذا يعني أن كل 3.47 كم مربع في الضفة الغربية يوجد بها موقع عسكري أو استيطاني الضفة الغربية أكبر سجن مفتوح موجود على الكرة الأرضية
