Вчера моя скромная попытка немного подстричь заросли плюща на Ольшанском кладбище обернулась практически полноценными археологическими раскопками. Из-под наслоений земли, корней, плюща и муравьев удалось извлечь все три части надгробия математика Евгения Буницкого. Нижняя треть надгробия так долго пролежала в земле, что даже позолота на буквах частично сохранилась. Изначально я предполагал, что под плющом скрывается …

Долгими зимними вечерами квадратик за квадратиком, анализируя и сопоставляя одному только мне известные исторические факты и многочисленные фотографии, я кропотливо рисовал схему эмигрантского некрополя на Ольшанском кладбище. Теперь эта многомесячная работа наконец завершена. Кажется, последний раз такую подробную схему расположения могил на двух православных участках справа и слева от Успенского храма составляли то…

Также хотел бы отчитаться, что в конце мая я провел уже четвертую в этом сезоне благотворительную прогулку по Ольшанскому кладбищу в поддержку моей инициативы по спасению заброшенных могил русских эмигрантов. По итогам прогулки мы собрали 16.017 чешских крон на реставрацию и ремонт надгробий на могилах русских эмигрантов. По итогам трех предыдущих прогулок этого сезона в марте и апреле собрано еще 38.768 чешских крон…

Вчера утром под проливным дождем мы демонтировали надгробие Николая Ивановича Астрова на Ольшанском кладбище. Старинный дубовый крест с могилы последнего законно избранного московского городского головы отправился на реставрацию. Одновременно демонтирован деревянный крест на могиле молодого русского боксера Ивана Одинцова, погибшего на ринге в возрасте всего 23-х лет. Следующие полгода два старейших деревянных надгро…

Осталось немножко свободных мест на историческую прогулку по окрестностям площади Республики в ближайшую субботу. Если кто-то еще не придумал, как правильно спастись от жары в ближайшее воскресенье, освободилось немного мест на вторую прогулку по могилам русских эмигрантов на Ольшанском кладбище.
