ЛЕПНИНА ВОСЕМНАДЦАТОГО ВЕКА Сегодня долго бродили по музею в Авиньоне. В одном маленьком зале, практически будуаре, входит пара постарше, и вдруг слышу по-русски: Это лепнина восемнадцатого. Познакомились. Они живут в Бостоне, во Францию приехали как туристы. Разговорились. Оказалось немало общих интересов. И вдруг выясняется, что в Москве я жила с ним на одной улице. И что он учился в одной школе с моими соратник…

Одна моя знакомая, специалист по африканской керамике, поехала в экспедицию в поселение, о котором она прочла в книге одного исследователя. Он побывал в тех краях за двести лет до неё. И местные жители ей пересказали приезд этого путешественника точно так как всё было описано в той книге. Она много лет была под впечатлением такой другой, устной культуры.

Для сравнения: в африканских племенах, где не было письменности, существовала культура устной передачи мифов, легенд и истории. Старики пересказывали множество раз все известные им истории, чтобы молодёжь заучивала их наизусть. Любой член поселения знал ВСЮ историю наизусть. Сотни, тысячи рассказов. Поэтому там, когда уходит из жизни старый человек, это равноценно пожару, сгоревшей библиотеке.

Александрийская библиотека строилась и собиралась Птолемеем. Цель была политическая: власть через знания. Каждый проходящий корабль (!) тщательно досматривался на наличие рукописей, рукописи временно изымались для переписи. Пока писцы работали - корабль ждал. Таким образом было накоплено большое количество знаний, позволившее македонцам стать ведущей цивилизацией той эпохи. Через знания. Только так.

КУЛЬТУРА ДЛЯ ВСЕХ Учитывая общую тенденцию учить детей самим, стоит обращать внимание на то, что с выходом на семейное образование дети теряют право бесплатного посещения основных мест культуры: музеев.
