بعلم النفس فهم المشاعر السلبيه هو المسبب الرئيسي لتجاوزها بشكل سريع.. فلو مثلا مررت بحالة شعورية منخفضه ، ستصيد الشعور بالضبط وتحدده هل هو حزن ، غضب، خوف ، ذنب ؟ تحدد الشعور وتسميه ، ومن ثم تحاول أن تعرف من أين أتى ؟ وماهو مصدره؟ ماهو المصدر الذي يغذيه .. و بمجرد ما تحدده وتحتويه ستتجاوزه. ( الوعي التام بمشاعرك وأفكارك هى من اشارات ارتفاع الوعي لديك )
