ذكر ابن القيم في كتابه الرُّوح نقلاً عن أحد السلف، أنه رأى في منامه صاحب قبر يقول له: جزى الله أهل الدنيا خيرًا، أقرئهم منّا السلام؛ فإنه يدخل علينا من دعائهم نورٌ أمثال الجبال). لاتغفلوا عن الدعاء لأنفسكم وللأحياء والأموات .
