من صور الإخلاص في طالب العلم أن يتحلى طالب العلم بالإخلاص، فيرجع عن أي رأي كان يظن أنه صواب إذا علم أن الصواب في غيره وهذا من علامات الإخلاص والعلم النافع والقبول عند الله.
