شكا رجل الى ابى مسلم الخولاني مايلقى من الناس من الأذى ، فقال له ابو مسلم:« ان تناقد الناس يناقدوك ، وان تتركهم لايتركوك ، وان تفرمنهم يدركوك » قال فما اصنع ؟ قال « هب عرضك ليوم فقرك وخذ شيئاً من لا شيء يعني الدنيا »
عن عبد الله بن بكر بن عبد الله المزني ، عن ابيه قال:« إذا رأيتم الرجل موكلا بذنوب الناس ، ناسيا لذنوبه فاعلموا أنه قد مكر به » مداراة الناس لابن ابى الدنيا
قال الحافظ ابن رجب رحمه الله ونص الإمام أحمد على:« ان يصام عاشوراء فى السفر » اه
قال ابن رجب الحنبلي رحمه الله « وكان بعض السلف يصومون عاشوراء فى السفر » منهم ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما ، وجاء في شعب الإيمان للبيهقي ان ابن شهاب الزهري التابعي رحمه الله كان فى سفر فصام يوم عاشوراء ، فقيل له تصوم يوم عاشوراء فى السفر وأنت تفطر فى رمضان ؟ فقال « ان رمضان له عدة من ايام اخر ، وان عاشوراء تفوت »
عن ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما قال:« مارأيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يتحرى صيام يوم فضله على غيره الا هذا اليوم يوم عاشوراء وهذا الشهر يعنى شهر رمضان » رواه البخاري
قال شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية رحمه الله تعالى « ومما ينبغى أن يعلم أن اسباب هذه الفتن تكون مشتركة ، فيردعلى القلوب من الواردات مايمنع القلوب عن معرفة الحق وقصده. ولهذا تكون بمنزلة الجاهلية ، والجاهلية ليس فيها معرفة الحق ، ولا قصده ، والإسلام جاء بالعلم النافع والعمل الصالح ، بمعرفة الحق وقصده ، منهاج النبوة
