«Коли ми улітку 1989 р. були в Литві, щотижня пересилали до України всю патріотичну пресу, перекладали, визбирували все по краплі й передавали до Києва. На цих газетах виростав Народний Рух України. Нехай це комусь видасться занадто голосно сказаним, але ми тоді привезли Рух із Литви. І створювався він багато в чому за аналогією з литовським Саюдісом.
