بدأت أبكي، ثم شعرت بالخوف لأني لم أبكِ أبداً في طفولتي كنت أبكي متعمداً، وكانت أمي ترى الكذب من خلال دموعي فتعاقبني، توقفت بعدها عن البكاء. لكنني كنت أشعر أحياناً بصوت البكاء فى أعماقي و كان صداه يصلني و يضربني دون تحذير. إن طفلاً يبكي بشكل مكبوح يبقى سجيناً إلى الأبد. انغمار بيرغمان
