Впервые с 2014 г. наша сборная на Паралимпийских играх выступает под флагом и с гимном. Флаги стран во время церемонии открытия Паралимпиады проносят волонтеры. Такое решение было принято из-за того, что не все знаменосцы смогут присутствовать на церемонии открытия в Вероне. Флаг России пронесла итальянка Анна.
