Сегодня – 121 год со дня рождения Михаила Лифшица Как я уже рассказывал, сейчас наш небольшой коллектив занимается подготовкой громадного (60+ листов с комментариями) тома переписки Мих. Лифшица и Г.М. Фридлендера. Переписка эта длилась почти полвека, а потому не удивительно, что она наполнена самыми разными сюжетами – длинными (например, проблема Достоевского), покороче (скажем, перевод «Эстетики» Лукача на русски…

Наконец-то на русском языке выходит «Разрушение разума» Дьёрдя Лукача. Жаль, конечно, что не в переводе И.А. Саца – не потому, что нынешний перевод какой-то неправильный (какой он – я не знаю), а потому, что перевод Саца обладал бы особой, самостоятельной ценностью, как и все те переводы из Лукача, что были сделаны им совместно с Мих. Лифшицем еще в тридцатые, а затем и после войны. К слову, еще до работы над «Раз…

К сожалению, проблемы со здоровьем не позволили Виктору Григорьевичу Арсланову приехать в Петербург. Таким образом, презентация его новой книги в Академии художеств, запланированная на этот четверг, 16 апреля НЕ СОСТОИТСЯ. Приношу свои извинения всем, кто ждал и собирался прийти. Вот и вышла новая книга Виктора Григорьевича, второй том «Русского искусствознания»— ждать её пришлось долго, но она этого ожидания несомненно стоила. Приятно и то, что мне тоже удалось немного поспособствовать её выходу, выступив в качестве официального рецензента. Сейчас же автор работает над продолжением, надеюсь, третий том окажется счастливее, и мы увидим его скорее.
