جلستُ في المكان ذاته . الصالة نفسها . الجدران نفسها التي سكتت يومها ، وكأنها رأت كل شيء وقررت أن تحتفظ بالسر . مررتُ بيدي على وجهي وأغمضتُ عيني . لم أعد أريد أن أعرف لماذا حدث كل شيء . لم أعد أبحث عن تفسير ، ولا عن اعتذارٍ قادر على إعادة تلك الفتاة التي دخلت ذلك اليوم وهي تؤمن أن بيتها مكان آمن .

نفس التاريخ . مرّت سنة كاملة ، ومع ذلك شعرتُ وكأنني ما زلت أقف أمام ذلك الباب ، بيدي المرتجفة ، وأنفاسي التي لم أعرف يومها كيف أستعيدها حاولتُ أن أقنع نفسي أن عامًا كاملًا يكفي لكي يلتئم الإنسان ، لكن بعض الجروح لا تشفى لأنها عميقة ، بل لأنها كلما حاولت أن تنساها ، أعادها الزمن إليك في الموعد نفسه .

بعد مرور سنة ... سوف يعاد التاريخ ذاته . استيقظتُ صباحًا وأنا أشعر أن شيئًا ما يراقبني من خلف الأيام . نظرتُ إلى التقويم طويلًا ، وكأنني أنتظر منه أن ينكر الحقيقة . لكنّه لم يفعل .
