Из-за высокой смертности во время эпидемии холеры у чамалинцев появилось своеобразное «пожелание»: «Вабагlла диа къайчl идекlабса бетlвабекьа». Гачитли — маленькое село на отвесной скале. Чамалинцы нередко описывают Гачитли двумя образными выражениями: «АмахулI унол гьа⁻ᵸ» — «аул с ослиную голову» и «Анкухъ геталлакIас» — «висящее на крючке». Эти лаконичные фразы хорошо передают облик села: маленький аул, расположенный на отвесной скале горы Мицула, откуда открывается панорамный вид на Цумадинский район и окрестные сёла.
