كثفوا وألحّوا بالدعاء قال الإمامُ سفيان الثّوريّ -رحمه اللّٰه- : «الإلحاحُ لا يصلُحُ ولا يجمُل إلا على الله عزَّ وجلَّ» [الآداب الشرعية (٢/ ١٧٩)]. وقال الإمام ابن القيم -رحمه اللّٰه- : «وأحبُّ خلقه إليه أكثرهُم وأفضلهم له سؤالًا، وهو يحب الملحّين في الدّعاء، وكلما ألحّ العبدُ عليه في السؤال أحبه وأعطاه» [حادي الأرواح (١/ ١٨١))].
