سید علی موجانی، بازسازی تاریخ فراموششدهی عتبات عالیات: عراق، ص ۱۷۸: «حرم و صحن روضهی سامراء، هنگام عملیات بهسازی و مرمت زیر نظر شیخالعراقین و بهدست معماران استرآبادی» دیده میشود که در این تصویر، طلاکاری گنبد تمام شده است اما منارهها هنوز ناتماماند اما نسبت به منارهی تصویر پیشین پیشرفت کردهاند. @SamarraStudies .

به نظر میرسد این نامه را شیخ عبدالحسین طهرانی (شیخالعراقین) برای ناصرالدینشاه قاجار نوشته تا باقیماندهی خشتهای طلا را برای طلاکاری گنبد بارگاه مقدس سامراء بفرستد. آن پادشاه نیز در حاشیه نوشته که باید از خشتهایی ویژه برای این کار (مهم) بهره برد و بهزودی آنها را خواهد فرستاد. در تصویر پیشین دیده میشود که طلاکاری گنبد هنوز به پایان نرسیده و منارهها نیز تمام نشدهاند. از این روست که زمان آن به کوششهای شیخال…
