Тут, короче, Лейбов и Лекманов взяли сталинскую книжку «Родная речь» и раскидали, что, как и зачем в ней написано, а я их книжку про эту книжку, значит, прочитал. Из особо интересного: одна из составительниц «Родной речи» Людмила Африкановна Карпинская родилась в Подольской губернии в семье священника. То есть, получается, в XIX веке была в России деревня, жители которой говорили про своего батюшку: поп Африкан.
Написал вот немного про сборник предисловий Любови Сумм, в процессе сам не заметив, как с Мильтона и Свифта вдруг вырулил на Клайва Баркера и вшей в локонах карликов. Как обычно, в общем.
Набоборыкал немного про «Безмятежность» Федора Шейда — сборник рассказов, который вышел еще в прошлом году, но лично я о нем ничего не слышал и не читал, пока мне издатель не тиснул его вероломно в руки с требованием прочитать. Вот, собственно, и прочитал, хотя никогда бы не мог себя представить читающим автора по имени Федор, но при этом с фамилией Шейд.
